The Challenge
Develop a high-impact visual campaign to raise awareness about human-caused wildfires, specifically targeting the negligence of discarded cigarettes in natural environments.

I utilized a minimalist, two-tone color palette and heavy grain textures to evoke a raw, scorched atmosphere. The final design reimagines traditional packaging into a cautionary symbol, using digital collage techniques to seamlessly integrate organic silhouettes with rigid geometric branding.

the challenge
The goal was to create a striking environmental advocacy poster that addresses the human causes of wildfires without relying on clichéd imagery. I sought to develop a powerful metaphor that highlights how a single, small action—such as tossing a cigarette—can lead to large-scale ecological devastation. The visual needed to feel raw and urgent, intentionally moving away from a corporate or clinical PSA aesthetic.
the result
I executed a high-impact design utilizing a “Cigarette Pack” metaphor, where burning trees replace the cigarettes to visualize the direct link between smoking and forest fires. The piece uses a high-contrast, distressed aesthetic with heavy grain and a limited color palette to evoke a sense of heat and grit. The final deliverable functions as a visceral warning, effectively bridging the gap between traditional environmental messaging and contemporary, street-inspired design.
